Sarah Thomas
An executive coach, I partner with clients wanting to grow their confidence, leadership capabilities and effectiveness. I bring a passion for working in the realm of emotional intelligence using it as a catalyst to unlock my client’s self-awareness and choice for what really matters.
My approach to coaching is to be trustworthy and curious while empowering those I work with to uncover their own wisdom and learning from which to create actions that lead to transformational growth and change.
Here’s what a few of my physician clients say about partnering with me as coach:
"Sarah Thomas has an in-depth grasp of the culture of medicine and is exceptional at understanding and coaching physicians and other health professionals. Her experience and talents are unique in that she has worked in both health care regulation and advocacy, giving her special knowledge of the culture and personalities of health care professionals. Working with Sarah I gained insight in my own strengths and weakness, as well as received coaching to overcome some of my weaknesses and develop and appreciate my strengths. As a result of her expert coaching, I have been able to better manage conflict and be more constructive in my leadership style. The impact on both my professional and personal life has been meaningful and lasting."
- Dr. Pauline Alakija, FRCPC, Clinical Professor
Sarah gave me a completely new perspective on my medical leadership role. She challenged me to be curious about myself and my leadership. As a result of our sessions, I've allowed myself to think much more broadly about my role.
